Overview
Lord Abbett is seeking a talented and experienced financial professional to join our team as the Treasury Billing Analyst. Treasury is responsible for maintaining the firm’s financial stability through oversight of its balance sheet, liquidity, and capital resources consistent with enterprise objectives and initiatives. This role is designed for a professional with 2–4 years of relevant experience who is ready to take on increased responsibility, develop subject-matter expertise in billing and revenue processes, and grow within a best-in-class Treasury and Finance organization.
The Analyst will work closely with partners across Finance, Client Services, Product Strategy, Investments, Legal, Risk, and Technology, gaining exposure to the full end-to-end billing lifecycle.
- Execute client billing operations for Institutional and SMA accounts, including fee calculations, invoicing, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Own assigned billing processes or client segments end-to-end under the guidance of the Treasurer and Treasury Billing Lead.
- Support client onboarding and account maintenance related to billing setup and fee arrangements.
- Prepare and validate billing data, ensuring accuracy and completeness prior to invoicing.
- Perform revenue accounting activities, including fee accrual calculations, general ledger support, and revenue reconciliations.
- Monitor receivables and coordinate internally to resolve billing discrepancies or client inquiries.
- Assist in maintain and enhancing billing documentation, procedures, and controls to support strong governance and audit readiness.
- Assist in the preparation of recurring management reports and ad hoc analyses related to client revenue.
- Support internal and external audit requests by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Collaborate with technology and business partners to support system enhancements, data quality initiatives, and process improvements.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy within billing and revenue processes.
- 2-4 years of experience in finance, accounting, revenue operations, or a related role (asset management or financial services experience preferred).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including accruals and general ledger concepts.
- Prior experience supporting client billing, revenue processes, fee calculations and revenue accounting is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and ask questions.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical skills include proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with billing systems or data tools (e.g., Power
BI, SQL) is a plus but not required. - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Compensation & BenefitsCompensation Information:
