Position: Estate Operations Analyst (Max $28/hr W2)

Overview

The Estate Operations Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely settlement of client accounts following the passing of a client. This role involves reviewing estate-related legal documentation, processing distributions to beneficiaries or estate heirs, and adhering to standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate estate-related and customer account documentation such as death certificates, wills, Letters Testamentary, Letters of Administration and other court-issued documents to ensure proper handling and transference of client assets.
  • Process distributions in accordance with approved documents and internal procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of account settlements following a client’s death.
Requirements
  • Basic internship or up to 1 year of experience in the financial services industry.
  • 1+ years of experience is acceptable where applicable (as stated by the employer).
  • Knowledge in MS Office including Excel (required), Word (required) and PowerPoint (required).
  • Preferred experience in brokerage, retirement, estate and beneficiary services.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work against multiple deadlines and objectives.
  • Adaptable to dynamic work environments and priorities.
  • Demonstrate ownership and urgency in resolving inquiries and issues.
  • Proven effectiveness in fast-paced, client-driven environments and ability to perform under tight deadlines.
  • A curious and inquiring mind.
  • Attention to detail and tenacity.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with process transformation or operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Experience with tools such as Alteryx, Excel (macro/VBA), or similar platforms to support workflow/process automation and data-driven process improvement.
