Exchange Traded Derivatives Deliveries Senior Analyst

* This is a Hybrid Role at Citi's Jersey City location. The requirement is a minimum of 3 days in office.

The Sec & Derivatives Sr Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

• Resolve settlement issues and serve as a SME to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Individual mapped to this job description is responsible for derivatives transaction processing execution.
• Contribute to the creation of customized reporting used to present information to management.
• Support implementation of securities processing improvements
• Assist with identifying policy gaps and formulating policies that streamline related work processes.
• Review and analyze derivative trade activities, procedures to reconcile cash/holdings and securities pricing.
• Develop and use knowledge of securities, processing practices and standards.
• Provide informal guidance or on the job training to lower level/new securities processing team members when required.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge & Full understanding of the Futures & Options trade life cycle.
• Knowledge & Full understanding of the Futures Deliveries & Option Expiry Processes
• Firm understanding of top day Futures trade clearing.
• Solid experience in T+ break resolution

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

$98,960.00 - $ Full time salary range.
