Chemours is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Advanced Performance Materials team! This position will report directly to the Co‑op/Intern Manager.
As an Engineering Intern, you will work closely with the Advanced Performance Materials team gaining valuable experience through hands‑on projects in a chemical plant. You will have exposure to real‑time engineering work alongside other engineers to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom.
Effective engineering interns will have the ability to communicate with impact, have strong self‑awareness, and will be naturally inquisitive.

HoursRegular full‑time schedule of 40 hours per week
Preferred TermMay – August 2026
Candidates must be able to commit to at least a total of three (3) months as an intern. Timing of the session is flexible.
Responsibilities- Analyzing equipment performance and recommending improvement plans
- Conducting failure analysis investigations
- Monitoring process trends and detecting poor reactions
- Implementing process improvement projects
- Participating in process safety management activities
- Contributing to team meetings and conference calls
- Facilitating Management of Change and other Process Safety documentation
- Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Sophomore or above at time of assignment
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, or similar fields
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power PPT
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Participation in relevant activities, organizations, and projects beyond the classroom
