This position will be full-time, Hybrid. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing tenant project submissions (TAA) and conducting design audits to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and Port Authority technical standards. You will work under the supervision of the Design Standards Unit Manager and the Assistant Manager.

* Key Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze construction documents for tenant projects (TAA).
- Download electronic TAA submissions and ensure completeness in adherence to building codes and standards.
- Coordinate review comments from various technical disciplines and prepare memoranda for communication to line departments.
- Assign technical disciplines for code reviews and liaise with PA facilities to facilitate TAA and design audit projects.
- Maintain effective communication with both PA Tenants & Facilities and in-house application reviewers.

* Minimum Qualifications:
**
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering.
- At least five (5) years of diverse experience in building codes and systems.
- Solid understanding of architectural/engineering disciplines pertaining to building design and construction of transportation and related facilities.
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to act as a liaison between PA Tenants & Facilities and application reviewers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and willingness to learn additional software (e.g., Share Point, e-Builder/Trimble).
- Registered Architect or Professional Engineer's license in New York and/or New Jersey is preferred but not mandatory.
