Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. seeks a Senior Systems Programmer Analyst in Jersey City, NJ to act as computer systems analysis coordinator between technical and business user groups during the critical requirements phase of a development project. Responsibilities include providing systems analysis, troubleshooting, implementation/deployment, and general user support. You will design code and perform analysis for problem resolution, interact with business, support, and project management teams to design, analyze, test, update, and document the current computer system, which is developed in C++ and runs on Linux platforms.

You will customize existing software and programs to meet user needs, evaluate and implement user requests, prepare instructions and logical steps for computer systems, and deploy configurations and binary changes. The role requires weekly on-site presence of 3 days per week with flexibility for telecommuting from another U.S. location.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field plus 5 years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires 5 years of experience in C++, Linux, Eagle STAR, SQL Server, Oracle, Jira, Git, Github, Jenkins, and Valgrind. Please apply by emailing your resume to Talent.

Salary Range

$133,734 – $172,000

BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit‑sharing. The anticipated salary range for this role is specific to Jersey City, NJ and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
