Instructional Assistant

CBS Therapy is currently seeking Instructional Assistants for school placements for the 2025-26 school year! Our full-time employees are eligible for fortune 500 benefits and PTO! Successful candidates will:

• Have passion and enthusiasm for teaching and student engagement
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with physically and mentally disabled patients.
• Ability to maintain detailed data reports on interventions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with professional employees, students, and families.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Working directly with school aged students:
  Kindergarten to 8th grade
• Working under the close, ongoing supervision of a Certified School Based Teacher
• Providing entire classroom support, small group instruction and 1:1 support to students as needed
• Ongoing communication with parents/caregivers.
• Work independently
• Collect daily data and submit it within given timelines.
• Ongoing communication with the classroom teacher and other service providers
• Attend and complete all staff training as required
• Assist with classroom management, such as organizing instructional materials
• Provide instructional assistance in a computer laboratory
• Provide instructional support in a library or media center
• Provide instructional assistance along with acting as a translator, or
• Provide instructional support services under the direct supervision of a highly qualified teacher.
