We are looking for experienced and dedicated early childhood teachers to inspire and teach our Infants & Toddlers. Some responsibilities may include supervision of children, changing diapers, playing with, and inspiring children, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating with parents for our children, infants through pre-kindergarten.

Beyond an ordinary preschool, The Goddard School of Jersey City teaches children ages two months through six years in three languages (English, Spanish, and Mandarin). Our inquiry-based child-centered curriculum allows children to learn. We seek to acquire and retain excellent teachers with a culture of appreciation, support, and professionalism.
Responsibilities- Lead and collaborate with your team on the implementation of hands‑on activities and projects based on your observations of children’s interests and skills.
- Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for assigned subject areas.
- Provide learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, problem‑solving, critical, and creative thinking.
- Create and provide a supportive and caring classroom environment in which students learn cooperatively and interact positively with one another.
- Model respectful interactions with students of diverse backgrounds while responding to their individualized needs.
- Three‑year minimum of teaching experience as a Teacher.
- Degree in education, preferred.
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods.
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms.
- Excellent communication and instructional skills.
- 8‑hour shift:
Full‑Time – 40 hours per week plus a one‑hour lunch.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree (Preferred).
- CPR Certification (Preferred).
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred).
