Locum Jobs Online is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Family Practice MD in New Jersey!
A thriving outpatient primary care clinic in Rio Grande, NJ is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician to provide ongoing locum or locum-to-perm coverage. Enjoy a predictable daytime schedule, no call, and the opportunity to serve a friendly coastal community—perfect for providers seeking work–life balance and a smooth outpatient workflow.
✨ Position Highlights
Location:
Rio Grande, NJ
Pay Rate:
C ompetitive pay rate (to be discussed upon interest)
Start: January/February – ongoing dates in 2026
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
No call, no inpatient duties, no ED backup
Malpractice: Comprehensive coverage included
Travel: Complimentary mileage reimbursement
Clinical Responsibilities
Adult outpatient primary care
Chronic condition management
EKG interpretation
Disability exams (Occupational Medicine)
No procedures beyond standard primary care
EMR: Cerner
Candidate Requirements
Required:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
BLS certification
Experience with adult outpatient care
Proficiency in EKG interpretation
Active New Jersey license (or willingness to obtain before start)
Preferred:
Experience in occupational medicine (disability exams)
Familiarity with Cerner EMR
Primary care/outpatient clinic experience
