Overview
RWJBarnabas Health and Jersey City Medical Center are seeking full-time OB/GYN Physicians for employment in Jersey City, NJ. New staff will be excited to work a primarily outpatient schedule, with 80% of services performed at the state of the art faculty practice outpatient locations within Hudson county and 20% of services performed at Jersey City Medical Center. Jersey City Medical Center has completed $30 million dollars of renovations to the womens health inpatient and outpatient services which includes in-office ultrasound, 3D mammography and bone densitometry.
Our $200 million new ER/OR building includes two Xi robotic systems with teaching console.
The OB/GYN physician roles have no required call schedule, and employment at particular sites may qualify for federal loan repayment. Jersey City Medical Center is a major teaching hospital for Rutgers New Jersey Medical School with a fully accredited residency program. Academic appointment at appropriate rank at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School is part of the employment package.

Responsibilities- Provide OB/GYN care as part of a full-time role in Jersey City, with approximately 80% outpatient clinics at Hudson County faculty practice locations and 20% inpatient services at Jersey City Medical Center.
- Participate in an academic environment with Rutgers New Jersey Medical School; an academic appointment at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School is part of the employment package.
- Fulfill the roles and duties as assigned within the department while maintaining high standards of patient care; there is no required call schedule for this position.
- Must be ABOG board-certified or board-eligible
- NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
