Komar, a global leader in the design, sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution of high-quality sleepwear, layering, and intimates is seeking an Associate Product Development Manager to join our team at our Jersey City, NJ corporate office.

Associate Product Development Manager About the Role

The Associate Product Development Manager will support the Traditional Sleepwear Team, working across several brands. This role is highly execution-focused, partnering with Design, Production, Sales to manage product development from concept through market and production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain seasonal line plans for several brands, supporting development timelines and product flow.
  • Partner closely with Design to ensure accuracy of artwork, prints, colors, and style information throughout development and market.
  • Coordinate market preparation including market catalogs, print books, sample tracking, and sales preview materials.
  • Attend market meetings, capture buyer feedback, and assist with post-market recaps and booking data.
  • Support costing workflows, pricing targets, and AD sample requests in partnership with Production and Sales.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for the Amazon team, providing required assets, product details, and copy support.
  • Maintain fabric, print, and sample libraries; assist with color comments or approvals as needed.
PLM & Systems Management (40%)
  • Support product setup and data accuracy in PLM and Be Product, partnering closely with the Sri Lanka support team.
  • Create and update NuOrder templates for Sales and assist with market drop lists and system adjustments.
  • Audit SKU data, costing, delivery, and style attributes to ensure accuracy across systems.
  • Coordinate product copy and image handoffs for sales platforms and retail partners, ensuring timelines and standards are met.
Photoshoots & Asset Support (10%)
  • Attend photoshoots and assist with sample coordination and asset needs as required.
  • Support tight deadlines with photo selects or asset requests.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in product development, merchandising, or brand management (apparel experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and cross-functional projects.
  • Experience working with PLM systems and NuOrder preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative working style.
