Role Overview

The Business Development Manager at Basz Group plays a key role in supporting the firm’s growth by engaging the right organizations and leaders at the right time. This role focuses on building relationships, initiating meaningful conversations, and helping prospective clients understand where Basz Group can add value.

This is not a traditional quota-driven sales role. Success is measured by the quality of engagement, clarity of positioning, and contribution to long-term relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage prospective clients, partners, and strategic sponsors aligned with Basz Group’s focus areas
  • Initiate and manage early-stage conversations with operational and executive stakeholders
  • Develop a clear understanding of Basz Group’s services in order to communicate value in practical, operational terms
  • Collaborate with leadership and delivery teams to support opportunity development and alignment
  • Help refine messaging and outreach based on market feedback and client conversations
  • Maintain structured visibility into active conversations, pipeline, and next steps

  • Experience in business development, consulting, partnerships, or a related client-facing role

Compensation

This is a commission-based role. Compensation is earned as a percentage of approved and signed client contracts originated or supported by the Business Development Manager. Specific commission structure and terms will be discussed during the interview process.
