Associate Intake Coordinator

• Complete all Prior Authorization outbound call tasks and/or inbound triage case creations
• Inform members and/or providers of the approval and/or denial of requested authorizations
• Log results of call tasks and triage tasks accurately within the Utilization Management platform
• Follow detailed scripts and desk-level procedures for call and case creation tasks
• Perform additional duties as assigned or requested

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good written and oral telephonic communication skills
• Ability to navigate through multiple systems simultaneously
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as word processing and managing files
• Ability to interact well with peers, supervisors, and customers

• 1 year of Customer Service experience
• 1 year of Call Center experience
• 1 year of Healthcare experience
