JOB OVERVIEW

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, your primary responsibilities will be to process EPIC’s Accounts Receivable for Agency billed invoices. This position requires strong analytical, written and verbal skills which will give you the tools necessary to successfully complete your tasks and lend support to your colleagues. Your pro-active nature, attention to detail, quality and proven organizational skills will provide the basis needed to initiate and work multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Post/apply electronic bank receipts, lockbox checks, ePay Policy credit card and ACH’s receipts accurately and timely.
  • Daily review and batch posting of lockbox applications that are completed by our outsourcing partner.
  • Weekly follow up to resolve unapplied Cash On Account.
  • Timely and consistent follow up to resolve client premium and payment discrepancies.
  • Review, coordinate and process client refunds as requested.
  • Able to research and respond to high volume of inquiries (email & Phone calls) timely and appropriately.
  • Service client accounts that require special handling such as premium tracking and reconciliations.
  • Print and distribute client installment invoices (1st and 15th of each month)
  • File AR documents into our electronic filing system timely and accurately.
  • Act as a back-up for other Accounts Receivable team members as needed.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Use good judgment and show initiative in approach to daily tasks and deadlines
  • Detail oriented and accuracy a must
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently, efficiently, professionally and must be a team-player
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet required deadlines
  • Solid problem solving skills. Able to think outside the box to resolve issues that may arise
  • Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM databases, internet based programs, system problem solving
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Associates Degree or some college preferred
  • Experience in an insurance environment a plus
  • 2-3+ years progressive accounting experience
COMPENSATION

The national average salary for this role is $70,000 - $75,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
