Overview

We are looking for a Staff Accountant for our client on a project basis. This role is an onsite role in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of accounts payable; review vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements.
  • Monitoring all accounts receivable functions; generating invoices, statements and AR aging reports.
  • Cash Management; handle all financial transactions and record them properly. Bank reconciliations.
  • Match and code credit card transactions. Reconcile accounts.
  • Review net margin reports for discrepancies and correct them.
  • Calculate and track commissions and rebates.
  • Assist in month-end close, preparing financial statements and schedules, as needed.
  • Maintain and adhere to effective financial controls and policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • 3+ years of relevant accoutning experience
  • Experience with Net Suite is preferred.
  • Highly proficient with MS Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups)
  • Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
