The Warehouse Operator must possess the desire and ability to manage warehouse inventory. As a member of the Jerome team, the Warehouse Worker will be a partner in the Supply Chain Division. The Warehouse operator role involves moving and managing warehouse inventory.
What You Will Do- Inventory Tracking and Reconciliation.
- Organization of Storage Area.
- Maintenance of Sanitation in the Work Area.
- Inspection, Quality Assurance.
- Transferring of finished goods, packaging, materials, and ingredients.
- Ensuring accurate and timely counts and reporting.
- Must be able to read and follow directions of load sheets, schematics, product labels, and have numerical ability.
- Safe Operation of a forklift.
- Safe Load/Unload of semi-trailers.
- Accurate/Timely receiving and inventory management practices; use and track through scan guns, pallet tags, pick lists, packing slips, BOLs, computer entry into Oracle and Access Lot Tracking database.
- Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision and perform multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving/inventory control.
- Experience with forklifts (certified preferred).
- Ability to move 60 pounds repeatedly.
- Willing to work nights/weekends/holidays (if necessary).
- Able to primarily stand and walk throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Basic Math skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Office) preferred.
- Ability to meet all warehouse performance standards.
- Ability to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Ability to learn rapidly and perform multiple tasks.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
