Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Test and verify equipment functionality following repairs or maintenance
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and maintenance documentation
• Identify potential safety issues and recommend corrective actions
• Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications
• Communicate repair status, findings, and recommendations to supervisors or customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
• Previous experience as a service mechanic or in a related mechanical role
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documents
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and communicate with the team
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs or more
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work for extended periods on feet
• Work performed in shop, field, or customer-site locations
• Exposure to noise, grease, fumes, and dust
• May require overtime or travel for training
