Open positions include Security Control Room Officer (Weekend Shifts) with the requirement of some open schedule availability. Weekend and holiday availability is required. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields. State training and licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities- SOC Operator responsibilities include using best practices to identify, analyze, and support all incidents that are either impactful or potentially impactful to the business, the brand, or employees.
- Communicate information surrounding incidents to leadership as appropriate.
- Monitor cameras and alarms, dispatch associated calls via telephone and radio, operate access control technology, and provide general assistance to both employees and guests.
- Support a Region and field teams as they prepare for, respond to, and recover from both crisis and non-crisis incidents.
- Answer routine and emergency calls, monitor alarms and video equipment including fire, door, and duress alarms; provide general assistance to employees and guests.
- Maintain various records of communications and events.
- Use multiple internal and external resources to gather and manage information and intelligence.
- Escalate (without delay) complaints and unusual/critical event information to the Supervisor.
- Maintain control of all equipment and keys in the SOC, and log equipment checked out/returned.
- Inform the Supervisor of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems.
- Proactively monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs and respond to all security and safety system alarms.
- Answer and respond to events and situations received over regular and emergency phones and intercoms; control and monitor two-way communication systems.
- Weekend Shifts available with a need for some open schedule availability; weekend and holiday availability is required.
- Experience in security or customer service fields preferred.
- State training and licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
