Inside Sales Representative

Talis Group is hiring on behalf of a well-established, locally owned manufacturing company in Southern Indiana. They are seeking to hire an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to add to their team due to growth. This position will be a vital link between customers, production, and sales, helping orders run smoothly from start to finish.

This is a full-time, direct hire, with a salary range of $50-$60k, plus bonus potential, full benefits, and 401k. (Also includes education reimbursement.) Hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, onsite.

• Support outside and inside sales reps with the day-to-day operational tasks.
• Answer incoming calls & emails from customers (mostly repeat business).
• Enter orders, check inventory levels, quote pricing, and track shipments.
• Resolve customer questions or delivery issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate data in the system to ensure orders run smoothly.
• Collaborate with production & shipping teams to ensure orders are on track.
• Learn the company’s products & services to better assist customers.

• Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics strongly preferred.
• Previous experience with customer service, inside sales, or order entry roles required.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Detail-oriented with great time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM or ERP software experience is a plus.
• Proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience tracking shipments or working with inventory is required.
