Assist and directs the plant manufacturing departments in ensuring all pre-production requirements are met daily.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Responsible for part schedule based on project timeline with Customers.
  • Responsible for product from conception through manufacturing and after delivery to the customer.
  • Responsible for preparing new product schedules.
  • Responsible for handling new material processes and updating MSDS and IMDS.
  • Responsible for product designs that comply with customer standards, company standards, and engineering principles.
  • Responsible for coordinating activities with concerns in technical development, scheduling, and design. Communicate with our international locations as necessary.
  • Evaluates design changes, specifications and drawing releases.
  • Work with customers to ensure correct change such as PCR
  • Report to Engineering Manager weekly on status of products.
  • Responsible for understanding customer quality requirements and interacting with quality and production departments for implementation.
  • Interact with Suppliers as required.
  • Assist in equipment set-up requirements
  • Oversee internal departments complete all documentation required for customers based on master schedules.
  • Responsible for interacting with management, all departments, and customers on any manufacturing or sales related issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS in Engineering or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimal years of plastic injection molding experience required.
  • Understanding of Automobile manufacturer’s design and/or quality requirements.
  • Must have strong program or project management skills and/or abilities.
  • Must be knowledgeable in basic statistical methods.
  • Must have good computer skills (MS Office-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Must have excellent written or oral communication skills as well as problem solving skills.
  • Tooling knowledge a plus.
  • K. Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in production management and planning
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20%, during peak times.
