Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of advanced hardware solutions ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Oversee circuit debugging processes to identify and resolve issues enhancing product reliability and performance.
- Provide expertise in board bring‑up testing ensuring seamless integration and functionality of hardware components.
- Conduct comprehensive component analysis to optimize hardware design and improve system efficiency.
- Utilize knowledge of hardware processors to enhance processing capabilities and support complex applications.
- Implement EMI/EMC testing procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and minimize interference.
- Design power supply systems that meet project specifications and enhance energy efficiency.
- Develop analog circuits that support high‑performance applications and meet design criteria.
- Apply digital logic design principles to create robust and scalable hardware architectures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive new product development initiatives and achieve project milestones.
- Ensure hardware architecture aligns with company objectives and supports future scalability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of hardware processes enhancing productivity and quality.
- Possess a strong background in circuit debugging board bring‑up testing and component analysis.
- Demonstrate expertise in hardware processors EMI/EMC testing and power supply design.
- Have experience in analog circuits design and digital logic design contributing to robust hardware solutions.
- Exhibit proficiency in hardware architecture supporting scalable and efficient designs.
- Experience in new product development within the Manlog domain is advantageous.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in hardware engineering with a maximum of 16 years.
- Understanding the hardware architecture of the products.
- Performing work in all phases hardware product development life‑cycle – requirements, architecture, design, implementation and verification.
- Coming up with innovative ideas to improve HW products and the HW development process.
- Working in a diverse team environment, as well as independently.

- The annual salary for this position is between $128,000 – $150,000 + Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
