Superintendent, Construction

Minutemen Direct is recruiting for a Superintendent for an Industrial service company in Jeffersonville, IN. This is a direct hire opportunity on 1st shift and pay is $95K-$120K range. If you have a background in construction site operations, project scheduling, and managing large scale infrastructure projects this is the role for you. Must have mechanical/piping experience in commercial and industrial projects.

Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing daily construction site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols.

Support project scheduling using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to track progress and deadlines.

Collaborate on blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating to facilitate accurate project execution.

Monitor quality control measures and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards.

Assist in managing contracts, budgets, and procurement processes related to construction projects.

Supervise subcontractors and labor teams, providing guidance on tasks such as site safety, equipment use (including Ohmmeter), and technical procedures.

Coordinate with project managers on resource allocation, material deliveries, and workflow optimization.

Maintain detailed documentation of site activities, inspections, and safety reports for project records.

Proven experience in construction management or related field; supervising experience is preferred.

5+ years of mechanical/piping experience.

Strong knowledge of construction site operations, blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating.

Familiarity with construction management software such as Pro Core, Primavera P6, Heavy Bid, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools.

Understanding of project scheduling techniques and contract management principles.

Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and quality control procedures on construction sites.

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
