Production Supervisor – Jefferson, WI (Plant Floor Leadership Role)

Palermo’s is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead plant floor operations, support team members, and ensure daily production goals for output, quality, and efficiency are achieved.

- Supervise daily plant floor operations to ensure production schedules are met.
- Monitor output to ensure all products meet Palermo’s quality and specification standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop operations team members.
- Maintain accurate records including attendance, performance, and disciplinary documentation.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and communicate workforce needs to leadership and HR.
- Monitor material usage to prevent waste or shortages.
- Complete required production paperwork in accordance with Palermo’s, USDA, OSHA, and BRC policies.
- Conduct regular worksite reviews to ensure compliance with safety policies and proper PPE usage.
- Partner with Maintenance to address equipment issues quickly and effectively.
- Investigate accidents or injuries and complete required safety documentation.
- Enforce all company, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
- Support emergency procedures and building security protocols.
- 1–3 years of manufacturing experience (frozen food manufacturing a plus).
- 1+ year of supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
