Lab Technician

Overview

Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for Lab Techs to partner with us in providing quality medical care to patients within a transitional setting. Lab Techs, alongside fellow team members, will be entrusted to ensure that competent care and safety are delivered with compassion.

• Medical Screening (New Arrivals)
• Comprehensive Screening
• Sick Call
• 24-Hour Emergency Medical and Mental Health Treatment
• Women’s Medical Care

Aspen Medical will provide additional EMS, Diagnostic and Laboratory, and other ancillary services. All clinic service delivery will be provided in accordance with US clinical standards and compliance measures.

• Education:
  
  Successful completion of a full-time training course of approximately a year in medical or clinical laboratory assistance (or technician), or successful completion of an associate degree with second year including a training course in a certified laboratory setting that covers chemistry, hematology, blood banking, and microbiology (including serology), or Bachelor’s degree of Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) with instruction in these areas
• Certification:
  Current, valid AMT (MLT/MLS/CLT) or ASCP-BOC certification preferred
• Licensing/Certification:
  Current, valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; current, valid and unrestricted license or registration from applicable US jurisdiction preferred
• Experience:
  
  A minimum of one year of recent, relevant experience
• Language:
  Fluency in Spanish is highly desired but not required

Citizenship:
All Aspen Medical staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship will not be available.
