Role Description
For SY : for a Speech Language Pathologist. The responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students. The role also involves developing personalized therapy plans, collaborating with teachers and parents to support student progress, and maintaining accurate records of evaluations and interventions. The Speech Language Pathologist plays a critical role in improving students' communication skills to help them succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Speech Therapy and Speech-focused interventions
- Proficiency in identifying and treating Communication and Language Disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, educators, and families
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligibility to hold certification as required by the state of Georgia
- Prior experience in an educational setting is preferred
- Commitment to fostering student success and creating a supportive learning environment
