Assistant Transportation Manager

• Assist Transportation Manager with all aspects of trucking department
• Answer all office calls
• File all necessary quarterly & annual reports
• Collect and maintain all receipts from drivers
• Obtain haul permits in all states
• Manage funds to Missouri & Kansas permit accounts
• Maintain all trucking records
• Assist with & review driver logs for compliance

• High School Degree (required)
• Basic math skills
• Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal
• Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record
• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and be available after normal business hours to resolve problematic delivery

• Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, as needed
