SAN Storage and Fabric Administrator - Hybrid

Very long term project; initial PO for 1 year, expect to go for 4+ years Hybrid. Need 3 references.

• Manage LUNs, NAS, Fabric switches and connections to the storage arrays on the Production and Test/Development environments.
• Provision new LUNs as requested, and reclaim storage when applicable.
• Work with the virtualization team and fine‑tune storage configurations to get the best performance/resource utilization.
• Detection of SAN issues, monitoring and ownership of standards and requirements.
• Verify, create and remove NTFS permissions as requested.
• Participate in capacity planning for the infrastructure.
• Provide tools and procedures for resources provisioning.
• Document processes and procedures.
• Propose storage provisioning solutions to be analyzed and/or implemented.
• Evaluate and apply version updates of firmware and software to controllers and arrays.
• Develop and implement test plans to verify installation, upgrades or repairs, including back‑out plans.
• Daily management of Veeam Backup and Replication jobs, including Office 365.
• Create new backup jobs as required to maintain industry standard of 3‑2‑1 retention.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to provide after‑hours support occasionally as needed.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
• Initiative to research and resolve problems.

• 5+ years experience with SAN, NAS and Fabric administration and support.
• Working experience with Dell Unity administration (Cloud
  
  IQ) and support.
• Basic understanding of vSphere and Horizon environments.
• Strong focus on storage capacity planning and performance tools.
