The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications that are deployed at a client end, ensuring that they meet 100% of quality assurance parameters.
Responsibilities- Develop software solutions based on information needs, system flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle.
- Facilitate root‑cause analysis of system issues and problem statements.
- Identify ideas to improve system performance and availability.
- Analyze client requirements and convert them to feasible designs.
- Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts who investigate detailed software requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers to acquire information on software capabilities.
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, and proposed software.
- Develop and automate processes for software validation by creating test cases, scenarios, and usage cases, then executing them.
- Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Analyze information to recommend and plan installation of new systems or modifications of existing ones.
- Ensure code is error‑free and avoids test failures.
- Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status.
- Ensure all code adheres to project norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns.
- Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation and reports as requested.
- Coordinate with the team on daily project status and progress, documenting it.
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risks, and report to stakeholders.
- Capture all requirements and clarifications from the client for quality work.
- Take feedback regularly to ensure smooth and on‑time delivery.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on best practices and new programming languages.
- Consult with engineering staff to evaluate software‑hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Document and demonstrate solutions via documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
- Document essential details and reports formally for proper understanding of software from proposal to implementation.
- Maintain high quality interaction with customers (email content, fault report tracking, voice calls, business etiquette).
- Respond timely to customer requests, ensuring no complaints internally or externally.
- Continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of software – 100% error‑free onboarding & implementation, adherence to schedule/release plan.
- Quality & CSAT – on‑time delivery, manage software, troubleshoot queries, customer experience, completion of assigned certifications for skill up‑gradation.
- MIS & reporting – 100% on‑time MIS & report generation.
- Mandatory skills:
Medicare. - Experience:
5–8 years.
The expected compensation ranges from $90,000 to $100,000. Final compensation depends on various factors, including location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro's standard benefits, including medical, dental, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options.
