Clinical Instructor in BSN Nursing Program

Location:

Jefferson City, MO

Non-tenure clinical position available in the BSN Nursing Program.

• Collaborate with faculty on clinical objectives implementation and evaluation.
• Supervise students in diverse clinical settings.
• Provide clinical experiences aligned with objectives.
• Evaluate students in clinic/lab settings.
• Follow university policies and procedures.
• Maintain clinical expertise through seminars, workshops, and classes.

• Preferred:
  Previous teaching experience; two years of clinical experience; knowledge of adult teaching, curriculum development, evaluation, or willingness to acquire these skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of multitasking.

• Current Registered Nurse license in Missouri; CPR certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution with clinical components; meet Missouri State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Doctorate in nursing or related field preferred.
• Participate in faculty meetings, nursing ceremonies, and dissemination activities.

• Registered Nurse license in Missouri; CPR certification.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing; doctorate preferred.

• Good eyesight and hearing.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to participate in skills labs and clinicals without physical limitations.
• Work at various locations and travel to clinical sites.
• Contribute to equipment and software decisions and budget planning.
• Collaborate on grant writing and fundraising.
