Registered Nurse

Overview

DaVita Kidney Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our hospital-based team. You will help patients dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, delivering care in an empathetic and compassionate manner.

• Be part of a team that supports one another in a positive environment. Staff RNs are a central part of a small interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities, requiring unique treatment plans and a broad range of nursing skills.
• Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measure stats, and set up machines.
• Work daily in a hospital setting delivering dialysis to patients within a contracted healthcare system and integrate with the hospital and DaVita teams.
• Provide nephrology care across various settings (ICU, CCU, ED and more) as an Acute (Inpatient) Dialysis Nurse.
• Schedule:
  
  provide lifesaving care during regularly scheduled and on-call shifts. Schedules vary by hospital system; you should be aware of your weekly schedule in advance, with daily variations possible based on patient needs.
• DaVita s Inpatient Dialysis Program is Joint Commission Accredited.

• Training may occur in a facility or a training facility other than your assigned home facility.
• No Dialysis experience is required.
• Potential to float to various facilities during and after training.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or a three-year diploma may substitute for the nursing degree.
• Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg is helpful but not required.
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is a plus.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment color vision test; accommodation may be provided.
