Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Boone Supported Living, Jefferson City, MO
Part‑time (up to 30 hrs) with potential to turn into full‑time.
Hourly rate: up to $18.47 HR with bonus and wage increase opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document all supports provided in daily notes.
  • Complete and document objectives as directed in each client’s care plan.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and document in Medication Administration Records (MARs).
  • Follow and document any special diet orders as required.
  • Monitor and document health metrics including weight, seizures, bowel movements, vital signs, and glucose levels.
  • Complete documentation for medical errors, falls, injuries, and other unusual incidents.
  • Obtain and document receipts for all purchases made on behalf of clients.
  • Document all mileage incurred while transporting clients.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Proof of education (minimum high school diploma or GED).
  • Proof of vehicle insurance and a reliable vehicle for client transportation.
  • Ability to pass Family Care Safety Registry and a criminal background check.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
