Operations Application Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Application Analyst to support and maintain core system applications within the Operations department. This role serves as a crucial link between Operations and IT, ensuring business processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant in a fast‑paced, regulated environment. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of technical expertise and operational knowledge, with strong collaboration and communication skills, to help optimize the deposit and payment services for community bank customers throughout the Midwest.

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field preferred
• 2-4 years of experience supporting business applications in banking or financial services
• Proficiency in application support and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of banking systems such as core banking, payment processing, and financial reporting; experience with platforms like Jack Henry preferred
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms
• Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

• Monitor, maintain, and test core applications to ensure stability and performance
• Manage application deployments, updates, and migrations
• Provide technical support to application users and assist with troubleshooting issues
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and suggest process improvements
• Develop reports, dashboards, and perform data analysis to support operational decision‑making
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors for application support and maintenance
• Assist in documenting business processes and recommending workflow enhancements
