• Provides services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain that arises from sports‑related activities.
• Conducts initial assessment of an athlete’s injury or illness in order to provide emergency or continued care, and to refer injured athletes to physicians for continued management of their care.
• Performs patient/client evaluation, modalities, treatment planning, and implementation of individual programs to achieve functional goals, incorporating patient, family, and physician expectations to maximize safe return to activities.
• Provides prevention of injuries, emergency care, first aid and treatment, and physical rehabilitation of injuries.
• May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.

• Certified Athletic (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). the Board of Certification (BOC).
• Athletic Trainer licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• One (1) year of experience.
• Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
