Job Overview
University of Missouri School of Medicine | Capital Region Medical Center Department of Psychiatry seeks a clinical psychotherapist or social worker to work with an adult population in an outpatient clinic setting. This is a full‑time position with options for flexibility in work hours.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychotherapeutic services to adults and collaborate with other clinical providers as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Opportunities for consultation and collaboration with partners across MU Health Care may be possible.
- Document patient care appropriately, timely and in accordance with department and hospital policy.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday (with option of flexibility in scheduling) – 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. - Compensation package includes guaranteed base salary with quality and production incentives – outstanding earning potential balanced with great work‑life balance.
- Master's degree in social work, mental health nursing, counseling education, psychology, or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience providing comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Missouri licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, Professional Counselor, or Certified Clinical Specialist in Mental Health Nursing.
- One (1) year of clinical therapeutic experience in a medical setting.

For some positions, three (3) years of clinical therapeutic experience in a medical setting working with a broad range of social, psychological, or behavioral issues may be substituted for licensure/certification. At least one of the three years of experience must be post‑masters.)
- Education:
LPC or LCSW.
