The Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking a Security Control Specialist for the DMH Central Office located at 1706 East Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101. Flexible work schedule may be available.
SalaryThe base salary for this position is up to $56,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience. If the selected candidate is eligible for a pay differential, such as retention pay, the total salary may exceed what is listed in this posting.
ResponsibilitiesThe Security Control Specialist reports to the Department Chief Security Officer and will be responsible for approving, granting, managing, and tracking security access requests for department applications and systems. The role works closely with various divisions, DMH contracted providers, and ITSD Account Provisioning staff on account creation and troubleshooting access issues. The specialist will maintain the DMH Security Database for audit compliance and assist with periodic audit reviews.

Bachelor’s degree OR four or more years of professional or technical experience in a related area, or other experience that contributes to the understanding of activities of this assignment. Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
