This is a full-time in-person position that will be located at the State Capitol, 201 W. Capitol Avenue, Jefferson City, Missouri.

The Missouri Senate is seeking a skilled and motivated Resolutions Writer to support the communications efforts of the 34 senators that make up the body.

• Position requires a highly collaborative professional with significant writing experience.
• Ideal candidates will be a strong communicator.
• Ability to work effectively with people across the ideological spectrum.
• Candidates must be comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast paced work environment.

• Candidates will either possess a bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, or similar field, or have equivalent experience in professional writing.
• It is also preferred that candidates have experience working within government or nonprofit organizations, or familiarity with the legislative process and public sector communications.
• Lack of post‑secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
