Treasury Coordinator

Job Location: This position is located at the Missouri State Treasurer’s Office in the Harry S Truman Building, Jefferson City, MO.

The Treasury Coordinator resides in the STO Banking Division and is primarily responsible for the reconciliation of bank accounts and STO internal systems and the maintenance of records that support the reconciliation processes.

• Reconciliation of bank accounts.
• Maintenance of files and records to support account reconciliation.
• Creation and/or maintenance of spreadsheets for data tracking or reconciliation purposes.
• Creation of reports of transactions and/or activity for use both internally as well as by impacted state agencies.
• Communication of reconciling and outstanding items to responsible state agency personnel.
• Reconciliation STO internal systems.
• Performance of research requests.

• Four (4) years of relevant professional experience or a bachelor’s degree (accounting or related field is preferred).
• An attention to detail and like working with numbers.
• The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• The ability to stay organized and manage time effectively.
• Good customer service skills.
• The ability to operate a personal computer with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Candidates possessing their degree in a preferred discipline will be given preference.
