Why You’ll Love This Position

This position is located in the Division Liaison Services in the Division of Administration. It is an incredible opportunity to become an essential member of an energetic team that is responsible for all fiscal aspects of the division. You will also be working with cross‑departmental teams on a variety of fiscal priorities, financial policy development, and grant/fiscal monitoring and tracking.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

Responsibilities
  • Work with federal grants and federal pass‑through grants.
  • Prepare and analyze fiscal information for the Division management.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly budget and expenditure reports.
  • Work on assigned tasks related to the new State of Missouri Accounting system.
  • Coordinate special projects and tasks, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications

Accounting, Public or Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
  • Previous experience with Federal Grants is preferred.
  • Previous experience with SAM II financial and Mo Buys is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Excel, Word, Access, and Adobe is required.

Lack of post‑secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

Benefits

The State of Missouri offers an excellent benefits package that includes a defined pension plan, generous amounts of leave and holiday time, and eligibility for health insurance coverage.
