** How You’ll Make an Impact
*** Design and develop mechanical components for distribution transformers using 2D and 3D software.
* Lead and participate in customer specification and design reviews.
* Prepare technical reports and documentation to meet internal and external standards.
* Provide timely engineering support across departments and respond to customer inquiries.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet industry standards.
* Support vendor development and qualification of new parts.
* Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
* Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
** Your Background
*** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum 2 years of engineering experience.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, or similar 3D modeling software.
* Familiarity with industrial standards and design practices.
* Knowledge of pad-mounted transformers (preferred).
* Experience with IEEE and CSA standards for distribution transformers (preferred).
