Assistant Professor of Business Administration Tenure Track

Overview

Lincoln University School of Business is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position to teach Business Administration undergraduate and graduate courses in seat, online, and hybrid. This is a full-time, 9-month position. The successful candidate is expected to join us in the Fall of 2026 and will continue into the 2027/2028 academic year. The contracted teaching load is 12 hours per semester, with the opportunity for teaching overloads and summer courses.

Full-time faculty are expected to advise students, participate in faculty and campus committees, attend faculty assembly, division meetings, and conduct program/class assessments in accordance with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), university policies, strategic plan, rules, and regulations, as well as the standard criteria set forth by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

• Teach Business-related coursework in classroom and online modalities at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Research in accordance with tenured faculty requirements.
• Assist students with academic advising.
• Prepare course syllabi for assigned courses that meet the needs of students according to university policy and accreditation requirements.
• Participate in the development of assessments and evaluation of courses and the program for continuing improvement.
• Maintain professional development according to personal and professional need.
• Assist in recruitment efforts for the program by participating in university recruitment events and communicating with interested students.
• Assist with ACBSP reporting.

• Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics

• Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with integrating instructional technology into classroom experiences.
• Knowledge of ACBSP standards and criteria required for progress reports and accreditation reaffirmation.
• Ability to perform teaching, administrative, and clerical duties independently to fulfill goals and objectives of the program within the overall mission of the department, the university, and within accreditation guidelines.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development, strong work ethic, and a commitment to working well with others.
• Ability to work within an online modality and develop course curricula.

• A Doctoral degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is required.
• ABD with a documented completion date may be considered.
• Teaching experience at a higher educational institution is preferred.
• Prior business, marketing, and brand management industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with integrating instructional technology into classroom experiences.

• Light sedentary office work.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Salary: $60,000 - $62,000 per year
