Overnight Member Services Representative

Overview

Planet Fitness is seeking an Overnight Closer (Customer Service Representative) to create a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. The role also includes closing that day’s shift and creating an accurate bank deposit.

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle front desk activities including answering phones, assisting callers with questions, checking members into the system, and new member sign-ups.
• Take prospective members on tours and facilitate updates to member accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner; elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
• Close the shift for the business day and create a bank deposit for the next day.

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude; punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers, exceeding expectations.
• Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions with appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required; must be 18 years of age or older.

• Continual standing and walking during shift; continual talking in person or on the phone.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (overnights).
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals during shift.
