Customs Clearance Specialist

Position Title :
Customs Clearance Specialist Key Responsibilities

• Execute and follow up on all customs clearance procedures in line with approved regulations
• Prepare, review, and follow up on shipping and customs documents (invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, delivery orders, etc.)
• Request missing or incorrect documents from suppliers when needed
• Issue and follow up on shipment certificates via the SABER platform
• Ensure the validity of product certificates listed in customer invoices
• Coordinate with customs clearance offices and submit complete documentation on time
• Handle customs objections, remarks, and resolve documentation discrepancies or violations
• Submit customs declarations to the Finance Department and follow up on payments
• Prepare periodic shipment status and performance reports
• Manage authorization requirements with shipping lines and related entities
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in customs clearance
• Strong knowledge of Saudi customs systems and platforms, including FASAH
• Solid understanding of import/export regulations and Saudi customs laws

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• High attention to detail, especially in document review
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Effective communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
