Fuel Operator

Job Summary

The Into-Plane Fuel Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient fueling of aircraft on the tarmac. This role involves operating fueling equipment, performing quality checks on fuel, and ensuring that the correct quantity and type of fuel are delivered to the aircraft according to airline specifications. The operator must adhere to strict safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to prevent spills, accidents, or other operational disruptions.

They are also responsible for maintaining fueling records, conducting pre-operation inspections of equipment, and ensuring that fueling operations are completed within the required time frames.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Promote HSSE performance and ensure compliance to AL SHAMS Energy Company, IATA, JIG, GACA & local legislation by following the followings:
• Report all incidents timely as per Incident reporting guidelines.
• Attend Toolbox Talks for all the safety, operations & Training.
• Follow driving speed limits and regulations.
• Drive company equipment (Refueller/Dispensers/Pick-ups) according to the guidelines of company & GACA.
• Perform fueling operations according to Al SHAMS ENERGY COMPANY working Instructions.
• Perform equipment inspection/ check before operation and during taking over from other shifts, to ensure equipment readiness and operability. Forms/ records to be filled and filed.
• Perform Refueller loading and conduct the required quality control tests as per Al SHAMS ENERGY COMPANY working instructions.
• Carry out Fuellers tank-gauging/dipping tasks.
• Carry out daily Fueller & Dispensers fuel sampling, Quality control tests.
• Fill out all necessary task-related documentations.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/Management.

Experience, Knowledge,

Skills And Abilities

• Minimum Education level High school
• Ability to speak and write in English
• Ability to use PCs and Microsoft Office applications
• Heavy Vehicle Driving License
• Suitable physical body frame
