PHP Laravel Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced PHP Laravel Developer to join our technology team in Saudi Arabia . This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing the backend of robust and scalable web applications using the latest versions of PHP and the Laravel framework.

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications using the Laravel PHP Framework
  .
• Database Management: Architect and optimize efficient database schemas (primarily MySQL or PostgreSQL
  ). Work extensively with Laravel's Eloquent ORM for efficient data manipulation and query optimization.
• API Development: Define, build, and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end services (e.g., Vue.js, mobile apps) and third-party systems.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, modular, well-documented, and testable code. Adhere to coding standards,
  OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) principles, and the MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture.
• Testing and Debugging: Implement and maintain unit and feature tests using tools like PHPUnit or Pest to ensure application stability and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve complex application bugs and performance issues.
• Security: Implement and enforce security best practices to protect the application from common vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF) leveraging Laravel's built-in security features (
  Sanctum/Passport for authentication).
• Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with Front-End developers, Product Managers, and QA teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle. Utilize version control systems, primarily Git
  .

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Experience: Proven professional experience as a PHP Developer with dedicated expertise in the Laravel Framework (specific years of experience will depend on the seniority level, e.g., 3+ years).
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Expert knowledge of PHP (7+ or 8+) and its ecosystem, including modern features and dependency management via Composer
    .
  • Deep, hands-on experience with the Laravel framework, including its core components (
    Eloquent, Blade, Artisan, Middleware, Service Providers
    ).
  • Strong command of SQL and experience with relational database design and optimization (
    MySQL/PostgreSQL
    ).
  • Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and understand HTTP protocols.
  • Solid understanding of modern front-end technologies (
    HTML5, CSS3, Java Script ) sufficient for back-end integration with front-end developers.
  • Experience with Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines is a strong asset.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, dedication to detail, and excellent communication abilities for effective teamwork and technical documentation.
