- Diploma in Refrigeration Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years in a technician role.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia and Freon systems.
- Strong hands on troubleshooting and repair skills for mechanical and electrical faults.
- Experience servicing reciprocating, screw, and scroll compressors, as well as condensing units and packaged refrigeration units.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and troubleshoot PLC based or controller based systems.
- Proficiency in using gauges, multimeters, vacuum pumps, and recovery units.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of safety protocols for handling refrigerants, pressurized equipment, and electrical systems.
