About the job Sales & Marketing Executive (Shipping)
Job Summary:
Our client, a leading player in the shipping industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Marketing Executive to join their team in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and implementing marketing strategies to promote the company's services in the shipping sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the shipping industry, including freight forwarding, logistics, and maritime services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking to acquire new clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and incorporate findings into marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, and presentations.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company and establish contacts within the shipping community.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics to adapt sales and marketing strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Fluency in English and Arabic languages is preferred.
