We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager / sales manager with strong exposure to the marine, shipping, or sea-freight industry . The role is responsible for managing key clients, developing long-term relationships, increasing business volume, and ensuring high service quality. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the marine or logistics sector .
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the marine / shipping sector.
- Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify customer needs and provide suitable marine and logistics solutions.
- Handle all account management activities including quotations, pricing, coordination, and follow up.
- Prepare account plans, client reports, and sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, technical, finance) to ensure timely service delivery.
- Track market trends, competitors, and business opportunities in the marine industry.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Resolve client issues promptly to maintain strong partnerships.
- Participate in tenders, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development .
- Strong background in marine services, shipping lines, maritime equipment, or sea freight logistics .
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients.
- Excellent command of English and strong report writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Experience working with marine suppliers, shipyards, offshore services, or shipping agencies.
- Knowledge of international trade, port operations, or maritime regulations.
- CRM system experience (Hub Spot, Salesforce, etc.).
