We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager / sales manager with strong exposure to the marine, shipping, or sea-freight industry . The role is responsible for managing key clients, developing long-term relationships, increasing business volume, and ensuring high service quality. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the marine or logistics sector .

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the marine / shipping sector.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify customer needs and provide suitable marine and logistics solutions.
  • Handle all account management activities including quotations, pricing, coordination, and follow up.
  • Prepare account plans, client reports, and sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, technical, finance) to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Track market trends, competitors, and business opportunities in the marine industry.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Resolve client issues promptly to maintain strong partnerships.
  • Participate in tenders, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development .
  • Strong background in marine services, shipping lines, maritime equipment, or sea freight logistics .
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients.
  • Excellent command of English and strong report writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Experience working with marine suppliers, shipyards, offshore services, or shipping agencies.
  • Knowledge of international trade, port operations, or maritime regulations.
  • CRM system experience (Hub Spot, Salesforce, etc.).
