Manage the operation of the Quality Control (QC) on site by preparing and implementing Quality Controls Plans and Procedures according to Company QC procedures, International standards and specific contract requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Supervise and manage all Quality Control functions in the workplace and manage a team of QC engineers and welding inspectors for day to day QC functions.
- Coordinate with Non Destructive Examinations (NDE) sub-contractors for enquiry quotations.
- Coordinate with testing Agencies for Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and all other required tests.
- Interface and coordinate with clients for production/construction and QC matters and coordinate with third party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities.
- Prepare Quality Control procedures/work instruction, ITP (Inspection Test Plans) according to project/client requirements and follow-up for its approval and monitor the implementation.
- act as a coordination point for ISO internal and external audits.
- Plan and undertake Subcontractor audits and reviews of Sub contractor quality control programs.
- Supervise all QC related activities in Piping/Pipe line, Equipment, Tanks, Painting, Fireproofing and Insulation.
- Supervise of Piping and pipeline Test packages.
- supervise all QC related activities in HVAC, static& rotating equipment installation, Firefighting system and Painting (for C&I Project).
- Supervise the various drawings used in the projects for executing the work.
- Pursue any other activities within the job scope assigned by his direct Manager or organization management.
- Maintain the safety standards and comply with Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System Requirements.
- Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
- Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.
- Maintain company’s social management system policy via follow and report any deviated cases against PSP IMS policy.
- Take his own responsibility to comply with the social accountability requirements according to the standard SA8000.
- Co-operate with the SP team for any further communication in order to improve and enhance the level of implementation and compliance with the company’s social management system.
- Qualification:
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or any relevant discipline. - Related Field
