Head of Steel Factory

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Steel Factory for a client in Saudi Arabia to oversee the daily operations of their steel manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all production processes are running smoothly, efficiently, and safely. They will also be responsible for leading a team of production managers, supervisors, and operators to achieve company goals and objectives.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve production processes and increase efficiency
• Ensure that production targets are met, and quality standards are maintained
• Manage and optimize the use of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity and minimize waste
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
• Ensure that the factory complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Lead and motivate a team of managers, supervisors, and operators to achieve company goals and objectives
• Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for the company's products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase the factory's efficiency and profitability
• Monitor and report on factory performance, including production volumes, quality, and costs
• Prepare and manage the factory's budget and ensure that all expenses are within budgeted limits

• At least 10 years of experience in a leadership position within a steel manufacturing plant
• Strong technical knowledge of steel production and manufacturing processes
• Solid Commercial and Business Development background
• Proven track record of achieving production targets and improving efficiency
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to steel manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
