A leading organization in the paper manufacturing sector is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to support factory operations in Jeddah. The role focuses on analyzing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
- Monitor production performance, process parameters, and key operational metrics on a regular basis
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization
- Support continuous improvement programs such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth process execution
- Assist in root cause analysis for process deviations, quality issues, and production losses
- Propose corrective and preventive actions and support their implementation on the shop floor
- Prepare process documentation, reports, and performance improvement summaries
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality systems, and company procedures
- Support trials, process modifications, and production ramp-ups as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline)
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Saudi National (mandatory requirement)
- Strong understanding of process analysis, optimization, and continuous improvement principles
- Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions
- Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, process flow analysis, and productivity improvement tools
- Basic exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting tools
- Willingness to work in a factory environment
